UPDATE with a calculation

UPDATE can compute the new value from the old one.

Task

Can UPDATE use the old value?

UPDATE courses SET monthly_fee = monthly_fee + 500 WHERE id = 1;
SELECT monthly_fee FROM courses WHERE id = 1;
Syntax reference
