Task 33
Handle a missing answer
Real data has holes. row.get() returns None instead of crashing, and the loop skips the bad row and keeps going — one broken FAQ entry must never take the bot down.
Task
What does dict.get() return for a missing key?
The editor already contains a starting point. Change it until every check passes — the Next task button unlocks when it does.
What you start with
rows = [
{'q': 'fee', 'a': 'Rs 11,667 per month'},
{'q': 'timing'},
{'q': 'admission', 'a': 'Bring your CNIC copy'},
]
for row in rows:
answer = row.get('a')
if not answer:
print('skip: missing answer for', row.get('q'))
continue
print(row['q'], '->', answer)
